RALPH NICKEL July 13, 1955 March 1, 2006 After 14 long hours of surgery, with the doctors and medical team doing everything they could, Ralph Nickel went to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 1, 2006. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Jason, Stacey, Jessica and John; parents, Horst and Hanna Nickel, and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ralph was a man of wisdom and integrity. He gave all he could give to those he loved, and to everyone else he came in contact with. He had a deep passion for his church, his family, his work, and his friends. He did everything to the best of his ability, and even then, wondered if he could do more. Each moment spent with him was a blessing and a privilege, and he will be deeply missed. Ralph loved the Lord with all his heart, and we are comforted in knowing that he is now in the loving arms of our Lord, healthy, safe and secure. I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 We will miss you, but we will see you soon. A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 11:00 a.m. at Mission Baptist Church, 771 Sargent Avenue, with interment to follow.
