FRANCES JOYCE CONACHER (nee SHELDRAKE) Peacefully on March 4, 2006 at the Gimli Community Health Center, Frances Conacher, aged 79 years, of Winnipeg Beach, MB. Fran was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Jim, in June, 2005; her parents, a brother Stan and sisters, Winnifred and Doris. Left to cherish her memory is her son Jim (Ann); brother-in-law Art Sperring (Ellen); sister-in-law Cecile Conacher of Winnipeg, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, special friends, Aileen Fiddler and Brenda Cropo, and many other friends. Fran was born in Winnipeg on July 23, 1926. She worked in the Credit Office at Eatons until retirement in 1979. They then moved to Winnipeg Beach where she enjoyed playing bingo and cards with the Winnipeg Beach Seniors Club. The family would like to thank Dr. Chapnick and the nurses and staff at the Gimli Hospital for their care of our mother. In accordance with Fran's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3A 1S1 or CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice.
