Rose Desser (nee Olin) Passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at the age of 86. Dearly loved mother of Gail Schacter, Leslie Springman and husband Mel; devoted and beloved grandmother of Ashley and Anthony Solomon, Miriam and Michael Stoller, Hartley Springman; doting great-grandmother of Aidan Solomon. Rose was predeceased by her husband Mark Desser; parents Rachel and Joseph Olin; and siblings, Bella, Max, May, Ella, Goldie, Al, Esther, Jack, Gerald. She was blessed with the devotion of her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her strength, fiestiness and great, selfless love for her family. If desired, donations can be made to the Rose and Mark Desser Fund of the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba. A graveside funeral will be held at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery, 2605 McPhillips St., on Thursday, March 9 at 12:00 noon. The Shiva will be at 1760 Mathers Ave.
