BAILEY Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 87 years after a lengthy bout with cancer. Harold was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Doris, and his two brothers, Garnet and Herb. He is survived by two sons Larry and Wally, and his daughter Diane, his 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Harold was born on September 26, 1918 in Lindsey, Ontario, where he lived until his family moved to Winnipeg in the 1930's. Harold joined the CNR in 1939, and worked there 37 years until his early retirement in 1976. Harold and Doris were married on December 17, 1941. Harold spent four years in the RCAF during the Second World War. He enjoyed curling and golf until poor health in later years took away these activities that he loved. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Harold's wishes there will not be a funeral service.
