Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL DWIGHT RIDD On March 5, 2006, Paul Dwight Ridd of St. Albert, AB passed away at the age of 74 years. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Norma; his children, Linda (Ron) Martens of Calgary, AB, and Dave (Shauna) Ridd of St. Albert, AB; grandchildren, Erin, Shawn, Sean, Shanlee and Cole; sisters-in-law, Bev Ridd and Dorothy Lord, and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Dwight and Isa Ridd and by his brother Carl Ridd. Paul was born in Winnipeg, MB on March 5, 1932. For 35 years he was an insurance and mortgage broker. After his retirement he became the president of Alberta Billiards & Snooker. Paul was a co-founder of the Edmonton Triple EEE Pool League and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hockey, basketball, curling and hunting. He was the former director of the St. Albert Merchants Junior Hockey team and coached minor hockey in St. Albert. Paul was a resident of St. Albert for 32 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Connelly-McKinley - St. Albert Chapel, on Friday, March 10 at 2:00 pm with Denise Wenzel officiating.
