GORDON DAVID DUECK 1951- 2006 On Monday, March 6, 2006 at the Riverview Care Centre, Gordon David Dueck, aged 54 years of Winnipeg went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Charlotte and Andre Genthon of Winnipeg; one son, David and Heather Dueck of Winnipeg; five grandchildren, Breanna and Michael Genthon, Jacob, Hailey and Sarah Dueck; his mother Betty Dueck of Winkler; three sisters, Valerie and Jim Kovacs, Lydia and Raymond Hamm, Janet and Dale Ferris; one brother Randy and Phyllis Dueck, as well as aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his father Abraham Dueck (2005) and one brother, Ronald in infancy. Public viewing will be on Thursday, March 9 at Wiebe Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St., Winkler. Interment will follow at Plum Coulee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. I don’t remember much about you grandpa, but I know deep down you were a kind man, and you loved your kids to death. I regret not being old enough to probably say goodbye, but now that I am, I'd like to say that you’ll never be forgotten in the eyes of the Dueck family.
