DELIMA CLAUDIA AUSTINSON May 29, 1928 – March 4, 2006 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mom and Grandma, Delima Austinson on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the age of 77 years with her family at her side. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Oliver (Lorraine), Harriet, Palmer (Marilyn), Gerard (Caroline); grandchildren, Tony, Tracey, Jill, Nick, Dale, Reina, Rhoda, Kendra, Christopher, Samantha, Dustin, Miranda, and Alia; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jesse, Devon, Joshua, Julian, Mackenzie, Riley, Kathryn and Robyn. Mom’s sister Florence; brothers, Jean-Baptiste and Marcel. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Harry, one son, and three brothers. Before mom’s illness took over, her life was filled with many hours of knitting and crocheting. When she was not working, she loved to spend time in the country with her children and grandchildren. Going for rides, reading, and playing cards with family and friends. We, the family, would like to thank the staff at the Vita Personal Care Home in Vita for their caring and kindness while mom resided there. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9 at The Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Vassar, MB at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one half hour prior to the funeral service.
