Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCYNTHIA MARILYN TURNER June 18, 1973 March 4, 2006 It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Cynthia (Cindy) Marilyn Turner of Grand Rapids, MB on March 4, 2006. Cindy was born to Marie and Oscar Olson on June 18, 1973. She grew up in Grand Rapids leaving for only a short time to pursue her education. When she returned home, she first drove the school bus for the Frontier School Division and later contracted with the Grand Rapids First Nation to provide school transportation services. Altogether, she drove the children of Grand Rapids to and from school for the past 15 years. Cindy married Farron and together they had four beautiful children who Cindy loved dearly. Cindy was a warm, friendly and loving young woman; always ready for a good laugh or some madcap fun. Cindy could always get you laughing with her infectious giggle but she had a serious side and was a good friend who was willing to listen and one you could depend on. She will be missed. Cindy leaves to mourn her husband Farron and her children, Dakota, Frankie, Darci and Eric; parents, Oscar and Marie Olson; sisters, Karen Sandney (Robert), Pamela Olson (Don), Debbie and Dawn; brothers Dwayne and Darryl, nieces and nephews, Angela, Bryan and Jonathan, Danny and Gena and Emily; aunts, Yvonne Cook (Franklin), Virginia Arthurson (Ralph), Dorothy Hutchinson (Dick), Marlyn Cook, Helen Armstrong (Garth), Florence McCauley (Gordie), Donnie Propkopchuk (Gene); uncles, Sol Cook (Yvonne), Norman Cook, John Cook and Louis Olson (Lillian); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patsy and Herman Turner; brother-in-law Herman James Turner; sister-in-law Edith Turner (Ken) as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and an even larger circle of friends. Cindy is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dan and Angelique Cook; paternal grandparents, Albin and Jean Olson and grandparents-in-law, Pat and Harriet McNabb; aunts, Audrey Sinclair, Grace McLeod, uncles Walter Cook, Russell Cook, Daniel Cook, Hubert Sinclair and John Olson; cousins, baby John-John Sinclair, Kirby Sinclair, Kenneth (Donty) McLeod, Lynn Olson, Glen (Tiger) Williamson. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 8 and on Thursday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Roman Catholic Hall, Grand Rapids, Manitoba, with Rev. Douglas Highway officiating.
