Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMASTER CORPORAL TIMOTHY JAMES WILSON While carrying out his military duties in Afghanistan, Timothy James Wilson passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2006. Tim will be sadly missed by his wife Daphne, son Jesse and daughter Sheralynn. He is also survived by parents Dale and Jane Wilson, brothers Ben and Chris, sister-in-law Nicola and grandparents, Ken and Alverna Arksey. Other surviving family members include Kerry and Sharron Arksey, Morgan and Keaton Arksey, Barbara Kowalchuck, William Penner, Pearl Doerksen, April Penner and Christopher Penner. Tim was born in Grande Prairie, AB on July 27, 1975. He also resided in Rainbow Lake, AB and Calgary, AB before moving to Langruth, MB at the age of nine. He happily participated in 4H and enjoyed life on the family farm. Family vacations were spent at Dogtooth Lake, ON where he spent many hours exploring the lake and catching turtles with his brothers, an activity he pursued later with his children. Tim found his calling in PPCLI in 1997. His previous tours of duty include the former Yugoslavia in 2000, Afghanistan in 2002 and Operation Peregrine in 2003. His other military accomplishments were numerous and well respected amongst his peers. Tim was able to revisit his farm roots when he was transferred to Shilo, MB in 2004. He took great enjoyment in being able to provide a rural upbringing for his children. And one of life's pleasures for him was his loyal dog, Spike and walking the perimeter of his property with his GPS. Friends may call for visitation on Sunday, March 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Barbara's Chapel, Building T99, St. Barbara's Ave., CFB Shilo, MB. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the MPTF, Building at the corner of Portsmouth and Patricia, CFB Shilo, MB with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Piper will be Jesse Tate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Wilson, Ben Wilson, Dan Vandale, Dan Holley, Ben Day, Guy Britten, Kory MacEachern and Gord Currie. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted at C-FAN P.O. Box 152, Langruth, MB R0H 0N0. A trust fund has also been established for his children at Westoba Credit Union, P.O.
