Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDRICK NICHOLS Quietly on February 27, 2006, Fred passed away at his home in Thompson, MB. He has been welcomed into the arms of his mother Mabel, brother Victor, and nephew Nathaniel. He leaves to mourn his Dad, Louis; sister Cathy (Phil) Neziol, sister Melody (David) Van Walleghem, sister-in-law Pat Nichols, and nephews and nieces, Matthew, Andrew, Cassandra, Regan, Joshua and Zachary. Freddie had many aunts, uncles and cousins who also loved him dearly. Fred was born in Treherne, MB and went to school in Sanford, MB. He had various jobs in Winnipeg and moved to Thompson in 1968 where he worked in the Inco mines for 31 years. During that time he completed his GED to get his grade 12 and also a special Mechanics license. Freddie retired in 1998 and enjoyed this time, especially trips with his family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and reception will be held Saturday, March 11 at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. at 1:00 p.m.
