ALFRED JAMES MAYNARD June 24, 1917 - March 2, 2006 It is with sadness we announce the death of our husband, father, and grandfather. Left to mourn are his wife Rose of 62 years of marriage; Patricia (Winfried) Mundhenke their only daughter; and grandchildren, Anita (John) Mallatratt and Natalie (Lloyd) Manning. Alf was predeceased by his parents and his dear sister Audrey Foulkes. He worked at Canada Packers in Winnipeg for 38 years up to the time of retirement. From 1950-1980 Alf and Rose were active members of the St. Vital Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Since moving to Kelowna they have been with the Winfield Congregation where they made many close friends and extended family. Alf had a strong faith in the bible's promise of a Paradise here on earth. Rev. 21:3, 4. He will be remembered by all for his generosity, kindness, welcoming smile and his firm, hearty handshake.
