Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKIMBERLY ROSS SMYTH Kim was born September 11, 1956 in Cold Lake, AB. He moved to Winnipeg, with his parents and younger sisters, in 1972. He worked for the federal government for 27 years, working the last 18 of those years in Ottawa, where at the age of 49, Kim died on March 4, 2006. Kim enjoyed his family, friends, cooking, curling, and volunteer work, but most of all he enjoyed a good laugh. Kim is survived by his parents, Ross and Jean Smyth of Winnipeg. He is also survived by five sisters, Valerie Smyth, Fort McMurray, AB, Debbie (Roger) Lefebvre, Viking, AB, Gerrie-Lee (Keith) MacIver, Winnipeg, Sally (Glenn) Kaspick, Winnipeg, Shauna (Tim) Isfjord, Winnipeg; also nine nephews, three nieces, one great-niece, numerous relatives, and an abundance of great friends. A Celebration of Kim's life was held in Ottawa on March 7. A second Celebration will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2528 King Edward St., Thursday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Liver Foundation or the charity of your choice.
