NORMAN FEDELUK It is with great sorrow Norman passed away on March 7, 2006 at Deer Lodge Centre. Norm was predeceased by parents, Sophie and Alec, brother Mick and daughter Tanis Fedeluk. He leaves to mourn his wife, Edna; sister Elsie Dyzandra; sons, Reginald, Randy, Allan and Gary; daughters, Linda Evanuik, Judy Manko and Lauren Fedeluk and numerous grandchildren. Norman was born October 6, 1919 in Oak Bank, MB. In 1939, Norman joined the British Royal Navy and was assigned to H.M.S. Malaya, a Queen Elizabeth battleship. Following his tour of duty aboard Norman transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy and boarded the H.M.C. Haida. He acted as an interpreter for the German U-boats that were arriving in port. He left the Navy as Chief Petty Officer after the war ended and returned to Winnipeg. Norman worked 38 years for the Canadian National Railways and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. For his devotion and dedication to Branch No. 7, he was awarded a Life Membership in 1968. In his spare time Norman loved to play golf, was an avid hunter and liked to fish. Norman was a resident of Deer Lodge Centre since 1981 and had made many friends during the years. Our heartfelt thanks to T4 of Deer Lodge Centre for their care and support. Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Transcona Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in the Transcona Cemetery with a lunch following at Transcona Legion, 117 Regent East. As we loved him, so he'll be missed. TRANSCONA FUNERAL CHAPEL 1800 DAY STREET
