OLIVE HILDA PARKINSON (nee BRADSHAW) On Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Poseidon Care Centre, Olive Hilda Parkinson, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Parkinson, at the age of 84 years. She will be sadly missed by her children, Mervin (Barb), Jerry (Cheyne), Eleanor (Dennis). She also leaves to mourn, grand-children, Chris, David and Tim Parkinson, Troy Parkinson, Helen Parkinson, Leah, Michael and Tara Weedon; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Keith, Hope, Thomas, Tyler and Emily. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Eleanor Bradshaw; and brothers, Bert, Jack and Leslie. Mom was the youngest of her family, born on September 26, 1921 in Saltcoats, SK. She married Lawrence in 1939 in Bredenbury, SK. Olive was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and lived for her family. She loved her time at the lake, gardening, flowers and her animals. She was always there for us and we will all miss her deeply. Her later years were spent at the Poseidon Care Centre where she received loving care from all the staff on the fifth and third floor. A private family funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 14, at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside Dad Together Again.
