Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) LUTOMSKE Peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, with his family and God by his side, Bill Lutomske passed away at East-Gate Lodge Personal Care Home in Beausejour, MB. Bill was predeceased by his wife Betty in 2000. He is survived by his brother John; and sisters, Anne Dreger and Elsie Dalke. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children, Norman (Ann) and Peggy (Dave) Black; grandchildren, Lindsay and Scott Black, Chris and James Lutomske and Andrea (Dean) Linke; as well as his precious great-grandson Aaron Dean Linke. Dad was born March 19, 1913 at his home in the Municipality of Morris. He was the 5th of 8 children. Dad went to Broadview School until grade nine, then farmed in the Morris area with his father. He worked the dragline at the Dauphin Airport and for Borland and Kane Construction between the years 1939 - 1943. For the next 34 years Dad worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Upon retiring in 1977, Dad kept himself busy going to watch baseball and hockey games. His love was his woodworking shop at home. Dad enjoyed making projects for the family, sharing his knowledge and assistance whenever we needed it. The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff at East-Gate Personal Care Home for their exceptional care of their father and grandfather during the time that he lived at the home. Dad truly enjoyed all the outings: Skinners, fishing, restaurants and his new found game, bingo. Also, we would like to thank Dr. Van Rensberg for his medical care of our father and Pastor Harold Borchardt for his spiritual care. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
