JACK SPENST March 15, 1923 March 8, 2006 Peacefully on March 8, 2006 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre, Jack went to be with his heavenly Father. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Alma, his daughter Rose Marie (Don), and his grandchildren Amanda and Nicole. He is also survived by his sisters Tina (Pete), Annie (Pete), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob, and Margarat and his sister Mary. Jack was a hard worker who loved to tinker and he was always happy. He loved to fix and invent things and most of all he loved his cars. He was a woodworker by profession and worked at Ideal Brass and Plating and retired from Selkirk Wood Industries. Funeral services for Jack will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006 11:00am at Grace Lutheran Church 211 Kimberely St. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to service. Jacks family would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for all their kindness during Jack's last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jack to the Alzeimers Society of MB 10-120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
