ALBERT ERNST SCHULTZ It is with sadness we announce the passing of Albert Schultz on March 9,2006 at Oakview Personal Care Home. Predeceased by his wife Emily (1993), daughter Diana Mary (1944) and son Ronald Clifford (1995). He is survived by devoted sons, Edward (Lynda), Terry (Mary), eight grandchildren and six great grand-children, and son Dennis Schultz (Marilyn) and three grandchildren. Albert had been a resident of Oakview Personal Care Home since February 2001 where he received excellent care from the nurses and staff on the third floor. The family wishes to express their thanks to all those who helped Albert over the past five years. Thank you also to the people who came to visit Albert at Oakview. Albert was born in Winnipeg, February 24, 1917. He married Emily Stefura on September 20, 1939. They farmed for a number of years in the Gunton and Stony Mountain area, eventually settling on Woodlawn Street in St. James where they raised their four sons. Albert and Emily did the very best they could for their children and we love them both for every thing they did for us. Albert worked as a carpenter in the construction industry until his retirement. He briefly resided at Kiwanis Courts from the fall of 2000 until February 2001 when he moved to Oakview Personal Care Home. Thank you very much to all the people who called, helped and cared for our father during this difficult time. It was appreciated by Albert and his family. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Home 669 Broadway. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
