SALLY PETRYK It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, wife, baba, sister, aunt and friend. Sally Petryk (nee Bezditny) after a courageous battle with illness, on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Steinbach Bethesda Hospital at the age of 59 years. Mom was born June 11, 1946 in the Municipality of Hanover, MB and grew up in Pansy. She was a very cheerful person and always enjoyed company and entertaining, cooking dancing, sewing, cross-stitching and gardening. Sally was an independent person who loved to help other people with anything possible. She was a wonderful cook and baker and especially loved to bake cinnamon buns (we'll miss them; they were always the best ). Sally's passion was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren Natasha and Michael. She spent most of her life caring for elderly people as a nurse's aid. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her husband Leonard, son Dwayne with wife Luba, two grandchildren Natasha and Michael, her mom Alice Bezditny, her brothers and sisters with their families: Eddie Bezditny, Billy Bezditny, Olivia Marsh, Peter Bezditny, Irene Doyle, Phillis Martens, Ernie Bezditny and Edith Bezditny as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
