LLOYD LENARD NOBLE December 9, 1926 - March 11, 2006 It is with sadness, we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Lloyd in his 80th year at the Grace Hospital. Lloyd was born in Morley, ON and grew up in the Rainy River District and resided in Winnipeg for over 60 years. He worked for the Manitoba Provincial Government for 37 years. Lloyd was heavily involved for many years coaching baseball and women's hockey. Dad was sports director at Bord-Aire Community Club. He was a long-standing member of St. James Legion, #4. Lloyd leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife Shirley; daughter Gail (Paul); sons, Gordon (Hazel) and Robert; grandchildren, Melissa, Vanessa, Matthew; and great-granddaughter Skyler. He also leaves his sister and brothers, Muriel, Clifford, Kenneth (Cynthia); nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca Remembrances may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 in Lloyd 's memory.
