ANNIE ENNS (WALL)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE ENNS (nee WALL) Peacefully and with her children by her side, Annie went to her much anticipated heavenly home on Friday, March 10, 2006 at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 94 years. She will be greatly missed by her children, Bill (Kathy), Irmgard (Joe) Bramer, Nick (Marlene). Grandchildren, Alison (Matthew) Bartel and their children, Jackson and Madi; Russell (Lisa) Enns and their children, Marcus and Simon; Nathan (Christy) Enns and Julie Enns. Annie will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers-in-law, John Enns, Harry (Terry) Enns; sisters-in-law, Emma Enns, Beth Enns, Anne Enns, Margaret Wall, Kathe Wall and many nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by her husband Peter A. Enns in December, 2002, her parents, Klaas and Katharina Wall and by all her siblings. Annie was born in Menlerchik, Russia on December 21, 1911. Together with her family, she moved to Canada in 1924 and settled on a farm near Sanford, MB where she also attended school. She also became active in the newly established Mennonite church near La Salle, MB where she met Peter Enns. They were married in 1940 and settled on a farm near La Salle, where they raised their family. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1958 where Annie lived until Friday, March 10, 2006. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa, especially to Marcie Schellenberg and the people on her wing, for the loving care they gave to our mother. A special thanks also goes to the staff and residents at Donwood Manor for creating a community for which Mom cared about a great deal. A funeral service to celebrate Annie's life will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior to the service at Klassen Funeral Home, interment in La Salle Mennonite Cemetery.
