Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE (BEA) DOTT (nee BOOKER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bea Dott, aged 96 years, on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. Bea is survived by her daughter Eleanor (John) Campbell; grandchildren, Stephen (Gillian), Chris and Alyssa; sister Sally Browne and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2002 and her parents Henry and Beatrice Booker. Bea was born on March 22, 1909 in Sheffield, England and came to Winnipeg in 1911. She worked for the Great West Life, where she met her husband Jim and they were married in 1941. In later years, Bea enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge and her investment club. Bea was a truly loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked tirelessly for many years to provide our family with delicious Sunday dinners, which we will always remember fondly. Her generosity was unparalleled, never forgetting any birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions. We always enjoyed listening to her interesting and informative stories of the past. Her knowledge of the world was remarkable and often surprising. We were always anxious to hear her opinion on the latest current affairs. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. We'd also like to thank the staff and homecare workers at Meadowood Tower for their help and care. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the charity of one's choice in Bea's memory.
