KAY SHOESKIE February 22, 1924 - March 12, 2006 Kay Shoeskie was called gently to rest on March 12, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Kay joins her husband Peter, son Jerry, sister Mary and brothers, Nick, Andrew and Mike. Left to celebrate her memory are her children, Cindy (Danny), Ronnie (Jo-Ann), Rosanne (Scott) and (June); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kay will always hold a very special place in the hearts of those who knew her. She was very caring, gentle, kind and devoted lady who always put her family first. The family acknowledges the great care she received by all at Concordia Place and would especially like to thank the staff on 1st and 4th floors. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for the family and close friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay's memory to the Alzheimer's Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2C 4G2.
