Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARLEY LEONARD BERGAL Suddenly, on March 11, 2006 Harley passed away at home. Harley is survived by his beloved wife Natalie; son Jeff (Diane); son Gary (Trish, James and Samantha); brother Joe (Joan). Harley is also survived by his uncle Bert Perlmutter, as well as cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family. Harley was predeceased by his father Nathan and his mother Rose. After graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Harley went on to obtain a Chartered Accountant designation, and a career with the federal civil service. He retired in 1988 as Chief of Appeals, Winnipeg office, Revenue Canada Taxation. As was his father, Harley was known as a prince among men and he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. The family wishes to extend many thanks to Mary Ashcroft and staff of the WRHA Home Care program for their kindness over the last few years. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 16, Bnay Abraham Cemetery, 4639 Main St. at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ari Perlmutter, Shane Perlmutter, Stephen Perlmutter, William Perlmutter, Gord Peever, and Steven Ratson. Honorary pallbearers are Bert Perlmutter and James Bergal. If desired, donations in Harley's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
