ORMA IRENE DONNELLY (nee BAILEY) May 10, 1915 - March 11, 2006 Orma passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilhelmena and Oscar Ernest Bailey; her husband Earle; infant daughter Joan and her seven brothers and sisters. Orma is survived by her son Brian Donnelly and his family; many nieces and nephews and extended family from across Canada and the United States. Orma was born and educated in High Bluff, MB and was the sixth child of eight children. She met and married her husband Earle, September 19, 1936. They farmed in the High Bluff area until Earle joined the Canadian Army in 1941 at which time they moved to Winnipeg and raised their family. During Orma's life in Winnipeg, she was a stay at home mom and worked at Eaton's and Deer Lodge Hospital until she retired. She acquired many friends over the years and will be missed by all. In her latter years, Orma enjoyed her life and took many holidays abroad. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow.
