MARY NADIA WEPPLER (nee KURYK) It is with sadness we announce the passing of Mary Weppler on March 14, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 89 years. Mary is survived by daughter Sharon (Garry); sons, Peter (Colleen) and Walter (Helen) of Burlington ON; grandchildren, Wade, Rhonda, Janelle, Ryan, Justin, Tammy (Jeff), Shawn, Dylan and Jeff; two great-grandchildren Kendall and Cade; one brother Walter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry; son Edward; daughter Ruth; sister Olga and brothers, George and Bud. Mary was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. As a young woman she taught Sunday School and later worked as a furrier. She then married and raised three sons and a daughter. She loved to cook and would feed anyone who came into her home. Her leisure time was spent playing bingo, playing cards, watching wrestling on T.V., bowling, knitting, watching her grandchildren play sports and spending time at the lake. She will be missed very much by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H., V.F. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
