CORPORAL PAUL JAMES DAVIS Corporal Paul James Davis, 28, of Shilo, MB, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 serving his country in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Paul was born in Bridgewater and raised in Sackville, NS. Our beloved Paul will be sadly missed by his wife Melanie and his two little girls, Julia (5) and Malia (3); his mother Connie (Avery) Davis; his brother Rick Davis; his sister Tanya Dampsey; and his niece and nephew, Jessica and Joshua and grandmother Garneta Ryan; his father James Davis, wife Sharon and sister and brother, Laura and Craig; all of Nova Scotia. Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nell and Hans Dyck and Mel's brother Ryan Dyck, Baba Helen Kartschewsky and Oma Maria Dyck, all of Winnipeg, MB. Plus many aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul attended Sackville High School. He was a member of 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry based in Shilo, MB. Funeral service was held Friday, March 10, Knox United Church, Lower Sackville, NS. A military memorial service will be held on Friday, March 17, 10:30 a.m. at CFB Shilo.
