TONY BOMAK On Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, Tony Bomak, aged 80 years of Dauphin, MB passed away. Tony is survived by his loving family, his wife Bert; daughter Karen and husband Reid Parker of Winnipeg, grandson Riley; two brothers, John and wife Evelyn of Grandview, Mike and wife Helen of Winnipeg; a sister Mary and friend Len of Canora, SK; sister-in-law Joyce Bomak of Calgary, AB; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony was predeceased by his parents, John and Nellie; sister Anne and brother-in-law Mike Kereluk; brother Peter Bomak; and nephews, Ernie Kereluk, Peter Yellowega and Perry Bomak. A rosary service will be conducted by The Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood on Monday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Dauphin, followed by prayers at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy and funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Fr. Oleg Bodnarski with interment in the Shortdale Ukrainian Catholic Parish Cemetery. The family ask that Tony be remembered by contributions to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Dauphin and District Handi-Van. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service have care of the arrangements.
