AGNES CRAIG Peacefully on March 16, 2006 at her residence, Agnes Craig, aged 72 years, of Gimli, MB, beloved wife of Jim Craig. Agnes was born in Belfast, Ireland on September 28, 1933 and married Jim in 1956. They lived in many locations before settling in Winnipeg in 1966 . They retired to Gimli eight years ago. Her character was dominated by true Irish wit with a sprinkling of sarcasm. Her loves outside her family were crossword puzzles and gambling. She was adored by many friends, always had a smile for everyone and an endless supply of jokes. She will be sorely missed by many people. Agnes leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Jim; daughter Louise (Hosking); son Jim; brothers, Jack, Sam and Artie Miskimmin; sister Mable McBride; grandson Jacob; granddaughter Katie; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gimli Funeral Chapel. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
