DOROTHY MAY HUNTER It is with deep sadness that the family of Dorothy (Dot) Hunter (nee Cook) announce her peaceful passing on March 14, 2006 at the Grace Hospital. Dot will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Alexander (Alex); her sons, Bob (Diane), Allen (Janice), all of Winnipeg: Ross (Donna) of St. Albert, AB; grand-children, Jason (Angie Johnston), Chris, Jodie Trenaman (Kyle), Courtney and Kelly; great- grandchildren, Alex, Brayden and Ansley. She will also be missed by her extended family. Dot was predeceased by her cherished sister, Beryl Sadler, of England in 2002. Born in Lewes, Sussex, England on January 4, 1924, Dot and Alex were married in Ardingley, Sussex on July 15, 1943. She joined Alex in his hometown of Strathclair, MB in 1946 and they moved to Winnipeg in 1955. She devoted her life to her family and was happiest when we were all together. The family wishes to thank the attending staff at the Grace Hospital for their care, kindness and support. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, a private family interment has taken place.
