MARJORIE (MARGE) ALICE TAIT It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Marjorie Alice Tait (nee Gallant). Marjorie passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at 70 years of age on Thursday, March 16, 2006, at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. Marge is survived and cherished by her children, James, Karyn (husband Patrick), Helen (husband Gary), Gilbert (wife Janet), Bruce (wife Marcia); her companion Paul Olafson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her own children, Marge also leaves behind Paul's children, whom she considered an important part of her family. She will also be missed and mourned by her brothers, Gil and Leon; and her sister Brenda. Born in Halifax, NS in 1936, Marge moved to Winnipeg in 1969, where she worked and raised her family. Twenty-three years of her career were spent working at Deer Lodge in the Dietary Department. During her time at Deer Lodge, she made many friends among the residence and staff. At Marge's request, a private family funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marge's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 Marjorie's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
