DOROTHEA MARGRETE OPITZ On Sunday, March 12, 2006 at the age of 82 our mother left us all too suddenly to join her husband and parents in God's Home. She leaves behind three daughters, her Angel on earth Virginia Opitz who cared for her at home with great love and patience these last seven years. Christine and husband Barry Taras, Marie (Marlies) and husband Ron Clark. Her only grandson Jeffrey Kurt Taras of whom she was very proud. Mom was born in Germany on October 3, 1923 and leaves a brother and sister there. She has many special friends in Winnipeg and Germany and left an impression on everyone she met. On Monday, March 20 viewing will be held at the church before the service, which will be held at 1:00 p.m., at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on 401 Kildare Ave. W., followed immediately with Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave., 224-1525.
