GERARD LIPPENS 1921 - 2006 Surrounded by his family that he loved so dearly, Gerard Lippens, beloved husband of Celina Lippens (nee De Smet) entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 17, 2006 at the age of 84 years at the Tiger Hills Health Center, Treherne, MB. Left to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory, are his beloved wife of 59 years, Celina Lippens (nee De Smet); children, Garry (Lorraine) Lippens, Denise (Glen) Walleyn and Michael (Brenda) Lippens; grandchildren, Rick Lippens, Sherri (Curtis) Johnson, Tanis (David) Nicholson, Raegen, Adam, Ainsley (special friend Travis Rintoul), and Miranda Walleyn, Lindsey, Leanne, and Lucinda Lippens; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Shaylyn, and Connor Johnson, Kaitlyn and Christian Nicholson. Prayers will be said at the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland MB on Monday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, on Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Gerard's memory to the Tiger Hills Palliative Care Unit, box 342, Treherne, MB ROG 2V0 or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
