EDWARD MARTIN JANECZKO It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather, brother and friend, Edward Martin Janeczko on March 16, 2006 with his family at his side at Selkirk and District General Hospital at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Brenda (John) Machowski, sons Brian, Carl (Tara) and daughter Adeline Somerfeld, grandchildren Crystal, Johnnie, Cayla, Brian, Jessica, Tyler, Sarah, Connor, Bailey and Tori, brothers Herman, Albin and Robert as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Edward was predeceased by his parents Ludwik and Mary, his wife Helen in 1991 as well as his brothers Victor and Anthony. Edward was born and raised in Libau, MB and lived in East Selkirk, MB for the past 36 years. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk and District General Hospital. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Selkirk United Church with Rev. Ken DeLisle officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Joseph's Polish National Cemetery, Libau, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
