MARGARET HUGHES (nee MCCLINTOCK) Peacefully on March 20, 2006, Margaret passed away at the Victoria Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bill, sister Vi Carpenter, nephew Paul Carpenter his wife Louise and children Allan, Danielle and Michelle, sister-in-law Dorothy McClintock-Faris, nephew Bob McClintock and his family Rob and Kasha. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and James McClintock and brother Archie. She worked for The T. Eaton Co. for many years. She was a member of Sphinx Temple No. 116, Daughters of the Nile. Summers Margaret spent at Falcon Lake were special times with family and friends. Until recently she spent winters in Mesa, Arizona where many good times were spent with old friends and new. The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria Hospital for the exceptional care they gave Margaret during her short stay and a special thank you to Dr. Halim Tomy for the care he gave her and the kindness he showed to us. A private family service will be held. If friends so wish memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Avenue, R3G 3M3 or the Convalescent Relief Fund, 1155 Wiles Avenue, R3P 1B9.
