ROMAN DRABIK Roman passed away on March 19, 2006 at the Arborg Personal Care Home. He was born on October 19, 1917 at Arborg and lived most of his life there. Roman was a good husband, caring father and devoted grandfather - a proud Second World War R.C.A.F. Veteran and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Arborg Branch No. 161. Roman was self-employed. He owned and operated a farm machinery dealership. He was very involved in community affairs, having served on the Town Council and in various executive positions in the Arborg Legion. He will be fondly remembered by his wife Helen; son Lindsay (Darlene); daughter Shelley (Warren) and two grandchildren, Jillian and Timothy. Also surviving him are four sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and five brothers. The family gratefully declines flowers and messages of condolences. If desired, donations may be made to the Arborg Personal Care Home. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff of the Arborg Personal Care Home for their compassionate care. No formal funeral will be held. A family burial will be held at a later date. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
