NETTIE ALMARIE MILLER (nee LANGSETH) October 19, 1935-March 17, 2006 Peacefully with her family by her side, Nettie Miller passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on March 17, 2006 at the age of 70 years. Nettie will be lovingly remembered by her four children Rhonda (Robert) Csuzdi, Audrey (Earl) Zabenskie, Garnet Miller, Janice (Darrell James) Miller, and grandchildren William and Heather Sawchuk, and Prescott James, her sister Sylvia (William) McKie, brother Russell (Edith) Langseth, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, her brother Melvin, and her parents Frithiof and Gladys Langseth. Nettie was born and raised in Glenella, MB and spent most of her life there. She was a very devoted, kind and loving person. Her greatest joy was her family and time spent with them, but she also maintained friendships with many people, some since childhood. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. She was very talented at knitting and crocheting, and like many women of her generation she is remembered for the cooking, baking and canning that was a part of her life. Gardening, for her, was a basic and delightful activity. She planted a huge vegetable garden every spring, but her flowers were her first joy and even in winter she managed to get flowers to bloom in the house. Words cannot express the depths of our loss, we feel truly blessed to have had her as our mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the staff of Riverview Health Centre, Wing 2E for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nettie's name to Riverview Health Centre or to the Manitoba Lung Association. Funeral service will be held at the Glenella Community Hall on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Clarke's Funeral Home of Gladstone in care of arrangements. www.clarkesfuneralhome.com
