Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN(E) MARJORIE WADE (nee HOLMES) It is with deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Helen on Friday, March 17, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital with family by her side. Mom will be sadly missed by children, Frances Storms, Dr. Kenneth London (Susann), Ruth Erkelens, (Don), Sharon, (Olaf), Brian, Donald, Joyce Bonneteau, (Gilbert), Clarence (a.k.a. Rex), Wendell (Brenda), Janice Harding, (Larry), grandchildren, Gordon, Dean, Jacqueline, Vanessa, Hypatia, Ursula, Dartanion, Nitobe, David, Lisa, Jason, Kristopher, Grant, Keith, Eric, Jacob, and Jennifer and 10 great grandchildren. Also sadly missed by her sisters, Hazel, Vera, and Mary, brothers, Jerry and Wendell. Mom was predeceased by husband Alex and her parents, Lena and Jerry. Mom was born in Richan, Ontario November 18, 1920, raised in Dryden, Ontario and settled in Winnipeg as a young woman where she raised her family. Our mother was a very devoted, kind and loving person. Her greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her compassion, feisty spirit, and sharp wit. Her passions were music and her strong faith in God. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and physicians of St. Boniface Hospital and staff of Tache Centre for their compassionate care and loving support given to Helen and her family.
