DEBORAH (DEBBIE) ANN CHIC It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce of the passing of our dear daughter Debbie at Riverview Health Centre, on March 18, 2006 at the age of 22 years. Debbie was born on April 26, 1983 in Winnipeg, MB, a daughter of Bill and Theresa (nee Lamontagne) Chic. She attended Dalhousie Elementary, Arthur A. Leach Junior High, and graduated from St. Amant Centre School in 2004. After graduation, she attended St. Amant Centre Adult Day Program. Debbie has touched the hearts of many people in her life. She had a smile that lit her face and the ability to make everyone fall in love with her. Deb loved long walks in the summer and weekend trips to Roblin, MB to visit family. She enjoyed playing with her Barbies, reading books, and being read to. Surviving to mourn Debbie's death and cherish many fond memories, are her parents Bill and Theresa, and brother Andrew, all of Winnipeg, grandmothers Lucy Chic of Roblin, MB, and Ella Lamontagne of Inglis, MB, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home in Roblin, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 23 at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Roblin, MB, with Fr. Kevin Smith officiating, followed by interment at Roblin Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Palliative Care, and the many doctors and nurses who helped Debbie throughout the years. Many thanks to the staff at Bayshore Home Health, especially caregiver Karen who has worked with Deb for five years. Also, thanks to Aline for many years of respite work. You will always be the wind beneath our wings. We dearly love you, and you will live on in our hearts forever. You will always be our special angel.
