Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINEZ LILLIAN ROSENSTOCK (nee PARKS) Inez Rosenstock passed away Tuesday, March, 21, 2006, at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Parks and her husband Barney Rosenstock. Inez was born in Bozeman, MB, where her parents operated a hotel. Upon the death of her father, when she was aged 5, Inez moved to Winnipeg with her mother and her brother Lester, where she resided for the rest of her life. In 1948 Inez married Barney and they were together for 52 years. Inez worked as a secretary for many years in the Winnipeg School System, her last placement being at Sir William Osler School. Inez was deeply affected both by the childhood death of her father, and the misery of the Great Depression and it made her a very caring and concerned person. From working in schools, she was very interested in the causes of special needs education, and the importance of good nutrition for both children and adults. Three years after Barney's death, Inez moved to the Sharon Home, where she resided until her passing. Inez is survived by her sons, Carl (Gabriella) of Edmonton, and Hamish (Leah) of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Adam and Amanda. The funeral for Inez will leave the Chesed Shel Emes at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 23 with a graveside service at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. Special thanks to Faye Parks Micay for her devotion to Inez.
