PEDRO R. ALMONTE June 29, 1914 - March 18, 2006 Pedro R. Almonte Sr., aged 91, passed away on March 18, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Pedro was predeceased by his wife Josefa Samaniego-Almonte. His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Ella (Victor) Cameron, Antonio Sr. (Susan) Almonte, Marcelo (Nida) Almonte, Lisa (Danny) Villapana, Conrad (Gemma) Almonte, Nena (Benjie) Baquiran, Alberto Pedro Jr. (Beth) Almonte, and Joe (Daisy) Almonte; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Cherielyn, Marites, Nick (Carrie), Mike, Antonio Jr. (Anna), Cathleen (Chris), Michelle (Jay), Marni, Andy, Jeanilyn, Joan, May, Denise, Kristina, Joseph, Marjorie, Antoinette, Alizah, Ghiezelle, Juris, Dexus, Jerica and Joyce; his great-grandchildren, Khayla, Abigail, Andi, and Caris; his grandniece, Marivic (Ed) Correa and family; his extended family in Canada, Nelly (Jerry) Palima, Rodolfo Jr. (Melrose) Roscuata and numerous relatives outside of Canada. Forever loved and missed, you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. A life well lived leaves a legacy of love. Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the staff on the 5th floor at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness, compassion and high level of care towards Tatay. Lamay will be held on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26 from 6:00 p.m. till midnight at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow.
