Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES GOW MCGREGOR Peacefully after a hard fought battle with congestive heart disease with his children by his side, James McGregor passed away on March 22, 2006 at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 73. He was predeceased by the love of his life Joyce in July of 2005; his brothers, Bill, Bob, Tom and Alex and an infant sister. His memory will be forever cherished by his children, James (Patricia), Judy (Dan Eliuk), Robert (Denise), Tammy (Grant Houlden); Papa's pride and joy his 12 grandchildren, Taylor, Kristen, Trent and Troy, Brittany, Brenndan, Breanne, Evan, Emily and Owen, Jonathon, Chelsey; brothers-in-law, Bill (Barb) Hyde, Gerald (Judi) Hyde, Art (Eileen) Hyde; sisters-in-law, Donna, Maureen and Elsie; special couples, Ruth and John VanBruggen and Linda and Arnie Davies as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dad was a hard worker and provided for his family. He was our Rock and we will be forever grateful for the values that he instilled in us. Papa was extremely proud of his four children and his 12 grandchildren and spoke of them often to anyone he talked to. James worked for Eaton's as a parcel delivery driver for 40 years and had many lasting friendships. Dad loved to socialize, playing bingo, his 649, cards, crib and watching sports. Papa, you were a strong willed man. You will be forever cherished and your memory will live forever in our hearts. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank Marilyn Chambers for her love and support to our dad.
