Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY MAY HARVEY On Thursday, March 23, 2006 surrounded by her loved ones, Audrey May Harvey died as she had lived with quiet strength and dignity. Audrey is survived by her children, Barb Harvey (Renzo Cervello), Jim (Lorraine), Val (Ken Bennison), Bev Deroche, Linda (Daniel MacDonald). Missing their Gramma is Tim and Tyler Deroche, Devin Bennison and Melissa and Megan Harvey. She will be sadly missed by her brother Arthur Barker (Beryl). Audrey will also be missed by her many friends, some who have been friends since school days and others collected along the way. Some live far away and some live right next door. Every one has special memories. Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Harvey and her parents, Charles and Ida Barker. Mom was born August 12, 1928. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother whose first love was her family. Weekends at Mom and Dad's home were a gathering place for family and friends for impromptu meals and planned celebrations. Mom loved to garden and started all her plants from seed in her greenhouse. Flowers bloomed in every corner. Inside, Mom enjoyed painting and decorating every room. Mom loved to read magazines on homemaking, gardening and architecture and books of all kinds. Audrey met her true love, Bob, in Grade 6. They married in 1948 and honeymooned for the rest of their lives. Special thanks to Dr. Gordon Dyck and his staff and to the staff and volunteers at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. Also thanks to our very close friends, Doris and Mick Bronstein. Funeral service will be held at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Raman Job to officiate. Interment at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Bethesda Hospital Foundation, Box 939, Steinbach, MB R0E 2A0. Transcona Funeral Chapel (222-6677) in care of arrangements.
