JOHN CHARLES WALKER January 22, 1947 March 20, 2006 John Charles Walker passed away suddenly at his home Monday, March 20. He was pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Rose Walker. He is survived by his ex-wife Gail; son Aaron; and daughter Mikiala, all of Vancouver, BC. Also his sister Jo-Anne and husband Brian Janzen (Winnipeg); sister Margaret and husband Dave Thomson (Qu'Appelle, SK); nephew Gordon Thomson (Qu'Appelle); niece Kim and husband Ed Lacoursiere; and great-niece Kaylee (Regina, SK). John was predeceased by his biological parents, Carl Mackling and Thelma (nee Vipond); and sister Lois. Left to mourn him is his twin sister Judy and husband Bill Waddell and family (Vancouver); brother Len and his family; nieces, Debbie (children Rod, Shawn, Dustin), Shelley (son Gary), Linda and families. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to his friend Mary Ellen and her family, and John's cousin Rick for their care and friendship over the last few years. Most especially we would like to thank his nephew Gordon who was John's close friend and confidante for being there every day over the last few months. Services will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street on Monday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
