Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER FINLAYSON TEMPLETON Peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Alexander passed away at the age of 82 years. Alexander is survived by his wife Hazel, sons Glen and Jim, grandchildren Jennifer and Eric, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Mathew and John and sister Betty. Al was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 14, 1924 to Christine and Matthew and came to Winnipeg in 1929. Al served in the Canadian Navy from 1942 to 1945. He worked for C.N. Telecommunications and for the University of Manitoba till his retirement in 1989. Al was involved for many years with La Verendrye Game Fish Association. During that time he co-founded and chaired the Junior Rifle Club and the Manitoba Hunter Safety Program. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street.
