Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARL VICTOR (VIC) CARLSON May 20, 1949 - March 23, 2006 It is with sorrow and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Vic Carlson on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at his residence. Vic was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Germaine Carlson Vic leaves to cherish his many memories, his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Laura Carlson; his nieces, Jaime (Jamie) and Lindsay (Trevor) as well his numerous friends and relatives. Vic retired as a corrections officer at the Headingly Correctional Institute in 2003. He always cherished his many friends he had made while working at Headingly. Vic's love for hockey, baseball and talking on the phone with his many friends will never be forgotten. The family would like to sincerely thank his many friends who helped and supported Vic over the years. You know who you are. A celebration of Vic's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Vic's memory to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Cancer Society.
