NANCY DESAUTELS On March 25, 2006 at Concordia Hospital, Nancy Desautels aged 88 years, widow of the late Peter Desautels, passed away. Nancy worked for many years at Eaton's where she made some lifelong friends with whom she kept in contact until the end. She devoted many hours to her sisters in time of need. She enjoyed time spent with her extended family. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Peter, brother James (Argyle) Dent, and by sisters Lillian (McGregor, Dulcie (Lambert) and Jean (Stear). She is survived by daughter Denise (Michael Turner); son Dennis (Patricia); grandchildren Mark and Adrienne Turner and Angela, Danielle, Brian and Paul Desautels, and great grandchildren Rylee and Kaiden Fortier-Turner. Nancy's family would like to extend sincere thanks to the nursing staff on North 1 and West 3, Concordia Hospital and Dr. Drexler for all their wonderful care; and to Leona St. Pierre, her Sunday morning brunch partner, and Nellie and Anne for their enduring friendship. Special thanks also to family and friends for their support. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
