S. BETTY ARNOLD (nee ALLEN) S. Betty Arnold, beloved wife of John S. H. Arnold, passed away on March 26, 2006. She leaves her husband and stepsons, Timothy (Maureen) of West Vancouver, BC and Stephen (Margaret) of Toronto. Also six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was educated in Winnipeg schools and Ovenden School in Barrie, ON. Betty Arnold served as a Wren in the Canadian Navy in the Second World War and was stationed in London during the Blitz in the fall of 1944. A member for many years of St. Charles Country Club she won the Club Championship on six occasions. She especially enjoyed the beaches in Florida each January.
