She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing Windsor in 1956. She was looking forward to attending the 50th anniversary of her grad with her lifelong nursing friends. Keta worked until 1988 as an O.R. Nurse, retiring from Grace Hospital, Winnipeg. Keta was an active and long time member of Broadway First Baptist Church. Keta's faith gave her purpose and strength.
