RUTH ISABELLE STOESZ Loving life, and a fighter until the end, Ruth Isabelle Stoesz (nee Abrey), passed on to her new life in heaven on March 26, 2006. She was born in Deloraine and grew up in Lauder and Grandview, MB. Moving to Winnipeg in 1945, Ruth met her husband Ben Stoesz, at Calvary Temple. They were married on April 16, 1945. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Ben; infant daughter Isabelle; parents, Harold and Isabelle Abrey; stepmom Mildred Abrey; brother Alfred, sister-in-law Josephine Abrey and brother-in-law Jake Bourne. She leaves to mourn, daughters, Lily Wiebe (Bob), Sharon Pringle (former son-in-law, Jim), and Marjory Hays (Don); eight grandchildren, Bob Jr.(Nicole), Tammy (Jasen), Angela, Shawn, Jamie, Jerilyn, Jaclyn and Christopher; eight great-grandchildren, Bradley, Andrew, Emily, Carson, Avery, Joshua, Leonardo and Riley. She is survived by her two sisters, Ida Wreggit and Maurene Harris (Ralph); and two brothers, Lloyd Abrey (Eileen) and Jerry Abrey (Martha); sister-in-law Lorraine; as well as several nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. The family would like to express their thanks to Mom's many home care workers and Dr. Hayward, who provided excellent care and support for Ruth for many years. The funeral will be held on Friday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Viewing will be on Thursday, March 30 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St., following the funeral service. Ruth: Loving Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Friend. Thanks for the memories!
