MARGARET GRACE CASSELLS (nee KENNEDY) Peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2006, our mother Margaret Grace Cassells, passed away at Concordia Place Care Centre. Mom was predeceased by her husband George in December 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ron (Vicky) Dawson and Bruce (Debbie) Dawson; daughter Sandra (Ron) Molter; daughter-in-law Beth Verry; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was born August 23, 1917 and raised in Winnipeg. Mom was a long term employee of Eaton's while she raised her children. On Mom's marriage to George, they embarked on a career in the restaurant industry. After retirement they enjoyed their summers at the lake making many friends. Mom was an active participant in life teaching exercises, bowling and walking. She was involved in all types of crafts, especially knitting and sewing for her family. In the late 1990s, Mom's health began to deteriorate and she moved into Concordia Place in 2000. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff of Concordia Place for their compassion and care of our mom, Sweet Margaret . Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 31 at Concordia Place Chapel, 1000 Molson St. with Chaplain John Friesen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg MB R3C 4G2. Rest in Peace Mom. You will be missed.
